Day Hike To Cerro Torre. Some of the treks here include the famous Cerro Fitz Roy Trek, Cerro Torre and the Huemul Circuit. The Cerro Torre is located in a four mountain chain; Cerro Torre, Torre Egger, Punta Herron, and Cerro Standhart. From this point the hike is fairly flat in most places, running parallel to the Rio (river) Fitz Roy with its many rapids, and intermittently passing through groves of fagus trees.
