The compact, vertical orientation of the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre, with its 12 stories, allows support spaces to be stacked above and beneath the auditorium rather than wrapped around it.
The 80,300-square-footbuilding is twelve stories and holds about 600 people, depending upon the stage configuration. The brothers gave $20 million to the AT&T Performing Arts Center, which named the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre in their honor. Note: The ghost of Marley is quite convincing and somewhat terrifying (as is appropriate for the story) - so children under the ages of 10 or 12 might be a bit overwhelmed by that scene.
