Aharon Rokeach (19 December 1880 – 18 August 1957) was the fourth Rebbe of the Belz Hasidic dynasty.

He personally helped build the city's large and imposing synagogue. Born in Brody and orphaned at a young age, he was brought up by his uncle, Rav Yissachar Ber, Rav of Skol (Sokohl). Belz (Yiddish: בעלזא) is a Hasidic dynasty founded in the town of Belz in Western Ukraine, near the Polish border, historically the Crown of the Kingdom of Poland. He was nurtured by his mentors, the Chozeh of Lublin and Rav Shlomo Lutzker, the Divras Shlomo. Segulos for Refuah ! In the 1940's, the Nazi persecutions all but wiped out the splendor that was Belz. To Belzer Hasidim, he is known as Der Ershter Rov (the first rabbi), but in the city of Belz itself he was called Der Alter Rov (the old rabbi) in deference to the Bach, who presided as rabbi of Belz in the sixteenth century. The founder of the dynasty was Rabbi Shalom Rokeach, also known as the Sar Shalom, who was inducted as rabbi of Belz in 1817. A great Torah scholar and legendary miracle worker, Rabbi Shalom personally helped build the city's large and imposing synagogue. It is said about him that he was "a minister in the heavens and a minister of earth", meaning that he had great power as a Tzaddik.
